The organisers invite you to participate in the Eighth Oxford Dysfluency Conference, which will take place at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford. For many years this has been the only international conference on dysfluency in the U.K. It provides an ideal opportunity to meet with people from all over the world who share an interest in Dysfluency. We have had delegates from many countries, including France, Germany, Holland, Poland, Denmark, Belgium, Israel, Eire, Croatia, Japan, Bulgaria, Sweden, the USA, Norway, Russia and of course the U.K.
Registration will start at noon on Thursday 3rd July and the Conference will end on Sunday 6th July some time after one.
We're delighted to announce that Michael Palin wil be guest of honour at the banquet on Saturday evening.
Here is John Speed's map of Oxford, from 1605. North is at the bottom. Although Oxford is rather more built up now, it is still one of the most historic cities in the world. Next to it is a Google image of Oxford. I've turned it upside down so you can compare the two more easily. It really doesn't look as different as one might think.
Why not come to ODC 08 and see what Oxford's really like?
